Repatriating to Cape Elizabeth, Maine after years of living in London, these clients came to Huffard House to help them renovate their Cape Elizabeth home to enjoy being stateside with family and friends. This project involved space planning, furniture layouts, and a design concept for the new open living and dining space. Inspiration for the interior came from the clients’ artwork and treasures collected from their years living abroad. The kitchen island pendants, purchased at auction in Great Britain were a must have element for the kitchen design. The kitchen artwork and backsplash inlay are all touches that personalized their new kitchen. In the kitchen sitting area and dining room, Huffard House focused on quality fixtures and furnishings and beautiful custom details, (such as the the silk Phillip Jeffries wallcovering) as well as comfort and durability for day-to-day living and entertaining.
