This was a collaboration with a young couple, Whitten Architects, and R.P. Morrison Buidlers on an extensive renovation to create a home for their growing family on the coast. Huffard House began working with the clients early on in the renovation process and was involved in everything from space planning, furniture layouts, built-in designs, paint colors, the selection of fixtures and finishes, and furnishing the main living spaces. The wallpapers in this home were an area where we had a lot of fun injecting lively color and pattern. Our clients shared Bronwyn’s love of mixing old with new, as well as taking some risks with bright color and pattern, which resulted in a wonderful designer-client relationship. Of course, it also helps when your clients also share a love of fine art and maintain a wonderful collection to complement your design.
